Everyone involved is passionate about getting out on the water and this enthusiasm, combined with creative design skills and extensive boat building knowledge, creates the perfect blend of transferable skills to develop high quality RS Electric Boats.

RS Sailing began with an idea between friends to drive dinghy sailing forward through their passion for forward-thinking boat design and innovative technology. They wanted to inspire more people to enjoy the thrill of high-performance sailing, go racing, and make new friends. Fast forward 25 years and the RS family is still thriving. And the drive to develop new boats and create fun sailing experiences for everyone to enjoy is stronger than ever.

PROTECTING OUR OCEANS

It’s hard not to notice our planet’s declining health and, in particular, our oceans. The team here at RS care deeply about protecting the world’s waterways so that we and future generations can continue to enjoy them. We’re conscious that as a marine business, we have a duty to do everything that we can to prevent further damage to the natural playgrounds that we love so much, and this has been a huge driving force behind the development of RS Electric Boats. As a result, not only have we produced a RIB with the world’s first integrated electric drive, but a majority of the building materials are sustainable too.
