ADVANCED ELECTRIC RIB TECHNOLOGY
Specifically designed to be an electric RIB from day one, the Pulse 63 incorporates some of the most advanced electric propulsion technology available whilst also introducing new benefits to RIB drivers such as increased acceleration, excellent manoeuvrability and low running costs.
FORWARD THINKING TECHNOLOGY
The RAD40 Electric Drive provides instant acceleration, featherlight control and hydrodynamic performance on the water. Plus, its simplicity results in less noise, reduced vibration, reduced weight and lower maintenance.
40kW (continuous) Electric Drive
Compatible with 400V (nominal) system
300mm propeller diameter
Lightweight motor (60KG)
95% Motor efficiency
RADBus throttle control
RAD Throttle unit with built-in RADLink enables precise thrust control. Reduced maintenance requirements also result in lower running costs.
Zero-emissions, smooth operation, low noise, and no refueling. Plus, with instant power, acceleration is quick off the mark and energy efficiency on point.
EFFICIENT HULL FORM
The unique hull form provides a smooth ride and creates an air cushion effect, making the cockpit much drier in rough or wavy seas.
Electrical tilt system allows the drive to be trimmed during use but also for the drive to be raised to horizontal when accessing shallow water.
The Bluetooth-enabled RADTag acts as an emergency kill-cord for man overboard safety and allows different speed and geo limits to be set for different users. Plus, there are no external rotating blades.
Cloud based data analysis enables the RAD 40 electric drive to monitor itself giving you optimal information on range and remaining charge.
POWERFUL, COMPACT AND EFFICIENT
The Pulse 63 electric RIB uses a bank of powerful Lithium-Ion batteries. Sourced from a well-established automotive supplier, they have been sealed and marinized to IP54. They are also stored in a specially designed air and watertight box to prevent moisture contamination.
The 46kw Hyperdrive GEN4 14-Cell (52Vnom) Lithium-Ion Modular Pack delivers an impressive 400 volts of power to the groundbreaking RAD40 electric drive and can be re-charged 2000 times at +85%. Each battery is individually controlled, conditioned, and managed by the RS-developed PDU. You can also use the RADlink to monitor performance.
SMART SAFETY AND LOCATION MONITORING
The smart Bluetooth-enabled RADTag acts as an emergency kill-cord for man overboard safety. It can also be programmed to limit distance and/or speed for different users. This is particularly useful in commercial and coaching settings, but also for leisure users wanting to restrict younger family members to lower-speed performance modes.
NEVER GET CAUGHT SHORT OF POWER
The touch screen interface of the Pulse 63 electric RIB can be connected to a third-party chart plotter or RAD mobile app to display system health, performance modes, battery capacity and remaining range at all times. Accessed via the main console, the driver has all the information they need right at their fingertips.
